Scope: This project involved demolition works including the removal and disposal of existing kerbs, concrete footpaths and side entry gully pits and pipes, earthworks including the excavation and boxing out of areas to accommodate the new road works, the subgrade preparation for new roads and footpaths including the supply and installation of subbase and subgrade materials, drainage works including the supply and installation of side entry pits, replacing trafficable lids, the supply and installation of RCP pipe and drainage modifications including the conversion of the existing side entry gully into a manhole, road construction including the supply and install of seal and asphalt, concrete works including the supply and installation of concrete footpaths, pram ramps and kerbing.
High traffic volumes and the rainy season were managed with careful planning to complete the project successfully within time frame and budgetary constraints.
